Andorra is a small country in surface, which contrary to what it may seem, is full of charming corners. One of those little corners lost in the mountains, is the small town of Pal, a village of just over 200 inhabitants that is famous for being one of the best examples of Romanesque art in Andorra. Its stone houses and slate roofs give color to the small streets of the village, creating with the green of the mountains (or white snow in winter) a landscape of those that remain for the memory. The small village of Pal, in the area of La Massana, is considered one of the most beautiful and best preserved rural areas of Andorra. Since 1997, it has been part of a plan for the protection of traditional Andorran architecture and culture.
