These mischievous beings, half legend and half popular imagination, live in their own particular world. As far as we know, there are at least seven of them in Andorra. They are very difficult to see because, in addition to moving very, very quickly, they know how to do it without being noticed at all. To all these difficulties, it must be added that they only come out of their world when we need them.
There is something very important you should know about tamarins: they are the protectors of nature and the forests of Andorra.
It turns out that each of the seven tamarros that we have managed to identify after years of studies, full of difficulties, is entrusted with the protection of the natural environment of one of our parishes. To carry out this task, they have a magical portal, hidden in the forests they protect. At this point, the most natural thing is that you wonder who or what they are protecting us from, right?
It is necessary to say that their declared enemy is Brutícia, an evil troll who does her best to damage and destroy everything precious in the mountains, lakes and forests of Andorra. Nothing, neither flowers nor animals, escapes her voracity. And the worst thing is that Brutícia never rests. Any day, Sundays included, he takes the opportunity to try to dirty and damage the natural environment, with everything he can collect: cans, plastics, paper and all kinds of waste that you can imagine. To give you an idea, as a result of one of Brutícia's attacks, the seven tamarins of Andorra spent more than two days collecting everything so that the meadows he had fouled would be clean and no animal could choke on a piece of plastic or cut itself with a can or glass.
Thank goodness we have the tamaracks!
