Tosca Bridge

Built in medieval times, it dates from 1820. It is formed entirely of stone and consists of a semicircular arch, a cobbled roadway and a small wall. It has a height of 10 meters. In this parish you will see, in addition to the bridge of the Tosca, other bridges, since in the past it was the only form of communication between the different nuclei of the parish: in this population converge the two rivers of the Valira - Valira del nord and Valira d'Orient - and the river of the Madriu. As a curiosity, it is worth mentioning that you will recognize this bridge in the silhouette of the coat of arms of the parish of Escaldes-Engordany.
