Built in the 15th century, the bridge of La Margineda is the largest and most slender medieval bridge preserved in Andorra. It is located on the royal road that went from Sant Julià de Lòria to Andorra la Vella (it is currently located east of the Margineda traffic circle). The structure passes over the Valira River, the main river of the country. It is 33 meters long and has a single arch with a span of nine and a half meters (arch width).
