The Castellar bridge, near the ski resort of Arcalís, is the starting point, a few meters away is the Castellar hut. It is a mountain hut at 1,867 m altitude, located on the right side of the Tristaina river. The path continues parallel to the dry stone wall until you reach the river Comís Vell, parallel to the river we will gain height, until we find a first wooden bridge, we will not cross it, we will continue gaining height until we reach a second bridge and a beautiful waterfall. Cross the wooden bridge, a few meters above, another smaller waterfall. Then we will move away from the river leaving behind the black pine forest, we will gain height until you reach an esplanade, a few meters there is at the junction of the path of Esbalçat. The path of the Esbalçat lake continues northward a hundred meters, all turning left and we will make a great diagonal under the rock. Before reaching the lake, the path will be marked by a steep slope, taking detours we will reach the lonely pond of Esbalçat. We will return by the same way.
