The formation of the postal system in Andorra is linked to the most recent history of the country and has contributed to the transformation of the way of life in the Andorran valleys. From pedestrians and passers-by to letter carriers and new communication technologies, the postal system has evolved according to the needs of society, and has been equipped with more efficient means to convey its messages. Andorra has the particularity of not having its own postal service and uses the postal services of its neighboring countries, Correos and La Poste, which each year issue stamps with an Andorran theme.
