Erts is a small town in the Principality of Andorra located at the crossroads between the towns of Pal, Arinsal and La Massana, in the valley of Vallnord. The village is located at an altitude of 1347 meters and according to the statistics department of Andorra, it is inhabited by a total of 494 people. Surrounded by forests and mountains we reach Erts on the CG-4 after leaving behind the neighboring town of La Massana. A traffic circle with the detour to Pal or Arinsal marks the center of Erts. Its particular orography, in an essentially rural and abrupt environment, has meant that most of the buildings constructed over time have been built on the margins of the road. Hence, Erts is basically a residential town, characterized by being a quiet place to live, well located and close to quality services. From Erts you can access Pal and Arinsal. Like all the confluences of roads, the hospitality and the embers are the characteristics of its traditional bordas, some of them converted into restaurants. If you are fond of via ferrata, you have an appointment not to be missed.
